Your ATA is configured by Apsis here in store and is plug and play ready. Below you will find an illustration on how to set up you phone service.

If you are transferring from Cogeco, the process is even easier. Once the Apsis ATA plugged is into your router, you simply unplug the phone wire from the Cogeco modem and plug it into line 1 on the Apsis ATA.

The technology our telephone service uses is known as 'VoIP'. 'VoIP' stands for 'Voice over internet protocol' and it uses your internet connection to provide an all-digital phone service at a much cheaper rate than traditional telephone providers. You simply plug your existing phone into your ATA phone adapter, plug the adapter into your router, then you are able to make and receive calls as you normally would.

What is VOIP phone service?

Voice over Internet Protocol or "VoIP" phone service uses technology that converts your voice into a digital signal, allowing you to make calls directly through the internet.

How much does it cost to get VoIP service?

Our VoIP phone service starts at $15/month if you would like voicemail it is an additional $5/month. You will also need an ATA (Analog Telephone Adaptor) that is a one time fee of $65.

Can I keep my current phone number?

Yes, you can keep your current phone number! In order to "port" your current phone number, we do require a one-time fee of $40.

What documents are required to port my number?

We will need a copy of your most recent invoice from your current provider and you will also need to sign an LOA (provided by Apsis).

Where are you located?

We are located at 4635 Queen Street, Niagara Falls, ON.

Do you provide Wifi?

The modems we provide do not have wifi built in for one reason only, not every customers house is the same. The wifi needs for a customer with a 5000 square foot house are vastly different then the needs of someone in a tiny basement apartment. We offer our AirCube router at an additional cost that provides amazing wireless coverage. It also gives us the ability to manage your wifi remotely from our office. Anything from simply changing your wifi password to dealing with devices that have poor signal or won’t connect at all, we’re able to completely deal with over the phone. For customers with a larger home, or for people who have wifi "dead spots" in their houses, purchase an additional AirCube, plug it into a power outlet anywhere in your house. It will take signal from the first AirCube and amplify it giving you complete wifi coverage throughout your home.
